Dr. Anibal Bohorquez

Dr. Anibal Bohorquez is a clinical instructor with the UBC Division of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He received his BSc. From the University of California and his MD from Queen’s University. He completed his residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from UBC.

Dr. Bohorquez enjoys teaching medical students. He also teaches rheumatology fellows, geriatric fellows, and physiatry residents. He has received a resident teaching award.

Dr. Bohorquez is an attending physician at GF Strong Rehab Centre in the inpatient neuromuscular rehabilitation unit. He also does an outpatient Stroke and Brain Injury clinic at GF Strong.

He has a private office in New Westminster, BC where he does a general physiatry clinic. He does consulting work at several hospitals in the Fraser Health Region. He will occasionally fly to the Yukon for a visiting specialist clinic.

Outside of work, Dr. Bohorquez enjoys spending time with family including young twins and going on ski trips to the interior of BC in the winter and Vancouver Island in the summer to relax.
